Apple lowers price of 1GB iPod shuffle to US$129

The 20GB and 60GB iPods with color screens for Mac or Windows are available immediately worldwide for a suggested retail price of US$299 and $399 respectively. The new iPod U2 Special Edition also includes a color screen and is now more affordable at just $329, and the 1GB iPod shuffle's price has been reduced to $129.

Now I see the point of the shuffle. Apple is putting pressure on RAM prices, and this means that other mp3 player manufactures will have less profit on their products. I get you Apple.
