  1. Does anyone know when those shows will be made available to the other iTunes Music Stores? For the EU stores, the shows are not available and in the Netherlands I can’t even download music videos. It seems a bit odd to sell a player without selling the content.

  2. I just SENT a story submission to Slashdot, thinking their geeky readers would enjoy knowing that Battlestar Gallactica was now available for $1.99 an episode. Unfortunately, their horrible editors rejected it and aren’t running any story of the NBC announcement.

Typical anti-Apple sentiment from a crowd that is bitter that Linux isn’t on every desktop.

  3. Firstly, why has the width of the Feedback box been sacrificed for advertising.

Secondly, AAPL is only $2.8 billion from exceeding the market cap of Oracle, and is now with $14 billion of being worth more than Dell.

I’m looking forward to the performance of the shares next year, just for the joy of watching Dell and HP becoming investment also-rans alongside Apple’s stratospheric rise.

Now if only Apple would use their market cap in the same aggressive manner as Cisco…

  4. Ah well, Canada, yes, and the rest of the world. Would be nice if Apple could give us some soothing info as to how plans are progressing to add some video content over here in Europe as well. You know, we are paying customers as well. iTunes is of course free but lots of us have bought lots of Apple products and although we do understand that it is an American company and things will of course arrive first in the US, but just a little word, Apple, eh? Would be nice, you know. Kind of making us feel that we count:)
Can it be that difficult to add a couple of Pixar-movies just so we might try this out?

  5. Whats this ?… an ad for “GameTap.com” ? … a quick look at their site reveals that they never heard of Macs …

Ok… since web ads are “click-thru”..revenue driven… I wonder how many MDN (mac heads) visitors actually click these anti-Mac ads ??

(and ..no.. I didnt click the ad… I opened another browser window)

MDN MW = “love” … as in … ya gotta “love” the irony here !

That’s the width of the feedback box: 24 characters. Any less and it’ll disappear into the Twilight Zone.

On the suckability factor, this is as near to a black hole as you can get before your eyeballs get sucked out.

  7. Now that they don’t just sell music on the Apple i-Tunes site & now include videos, wouldn’t you class this as an ‘Entertainment’ arm & not a ‘Music’ arm? In which case, would the Beetles & their lawsuit has a longer fight on their hands?
