Oct 12, 05 - 05:35 pm Comment from: Jack

It was fun to watch while it lasted. 25 minutes into it and word gets out fast! Nothing but a jumbled mess now.

Oct 12, 05 - 05:35 pm Comment from: Innocent Bystander

This video is crap crap crap.

I just bought and downloaded the premiere of Lost. Well guess what, that crap only plays on the freaking iPod!!!!!!

I should be able to watch the video on iTunes!

Oct 12, 05 - 06:26 pm Comment from: g

thelonius,

Maybe try downloading the new Quicktime via Software Update.

Oct 12, 05 - 06:27 pm Comment from: TrickyDick

Hey, theIoniousMac.....you can watch it in iTunes. That's why when you install iTunes 6, it tells you that you need Quicktime 7.0.3 in order to view the new videos that you purchase from the iTunes store. Try clicking on the little Video icon on the left. Ya know....the section for videos.

According to the release: " Customers can now purchase and download their favorite television shows from iTunes the day after they air on TV, watch them on their Mac or PC..."

I'm watching it on my 20" cinema display right now and it is decent to good.

gotta have QT 7.0.3, which just appeared on update about 45 min ago...

The song that plays at the opening of this QT video - does anyone know the name of the song, and the band that performs it?

I believe it was also used in the Nano presentation.

If you do, please share it here!

Thanks!

again, a streaming video that doesn't work for me...choppy sound and video :(

Oct 12, 05 - 09:50 pm Comment from: webzone

The ad with eminem is still in steve jobs' presentation (available as streamed video).

The name of the tune that plays while "(c) 2005 Apple" is displayed is Warning by Green Day.

The Wynton Marsalis piece was incredible!
Nice close to a cool presentation.

Oct 13, 05 - 01:54 am Comment from: Chancey Gardener

Wow! Can i purchase that Marsalis video clip from iTunes as well?

Oct 13, 05 - 03:39 am Comment from: Bert C

will i be able to play video on my color U2 iPod?

Oct 13, 05 - 03:46 am Comment from: Abraham Bainbridge

Dear lowfatsourcreme:

And I just finished watching the whole presentation. One of my thoughts was: "How close to perfect this video quality has become." It started playing right away, it played for over an hour without a glitch, picture quality was great, sound quality was great.

Your difficulties seem to have their origin in something beyond Apple's control. Maybe you should try not to leave the impression that somehow Apple is responsible for your unsatisfactory experience.

Abraham
