“Decked out in a striking Ralph Lauren pink turtleneck and coat, Angela Ahrendts attended Ralph Lauren’s fashion show Thursday morning,” Lisa Lockwood reports for Women’s Wear Daily.
“The 58-year-old executive, who revealed this week that she was stepping down as head of retail at Apple in April, has served on Lauren’s board of directors since last August,” Lockwood reports. “‘I plan to take the summer off,’ said Ahrendts, who declined to disclose what type of job she’d be interested in next.”
“She said she plans to enjoy some traveling before making any new commitments,” Lockwood reports. “On her agenda are a Rwanda mission and visiting two of her children in London.”

Does it, why is that then? Go on tell us all that Apple is doomed (or maybe just beleaguered). Go and peddle your meaningless thoughts elsewhere.
She’ll go back to effectively shilling sugar water.
Apple’s Retail Stores aren’t worth anything as far as Wall Street is concerned, despite being quite unique and having so many stores around the world. I know there many people who said Ahrendts didn’t do anything much to deserve such a high salary, but Apple Retail Stores did increase in profitability during her stay. I hope the next woman can do just as well if not better than Ahrendts. There are always those who want Apple executives replaced, but there are no guarantees those replacements are going to be better at their jobs than the person who left. At that level, it’s probably hard to make significant strides in terms of selling more products.
Apple retail did great just at it had done before she was hired.
She did absolutely nothing except.
Change the shirt colour and bring back some things that were in place before but had slowly disappeared. Basically nothing that literally anyone else could not have done. Was a waist of 100 million or so $$$.
Well, there you have her thinking: She is going all the way to Rwanda to hang out and do some churchly duties rather than to one of her secular tree-lined Apple stores of her own design. I would say that she lived a duplicitous life during her Apple diversion where she may have been frustrated by not being allowed to hang a Crucifix over the Apple Genius altar.
