Tried to update and it failed. Error 4005. Followed instructions and tried to do a restore. Got Error 4013. Tried a few more times with no luck. Ran all the maintenance scripts with Cocktail rebooted. Tried again leaving my VPN off. Worked that time. VPN shouldn’t have been the cause probably coincidence.
That was scary. Had one foot out the door to the Apple store but all is well now. This was with an iPhone 7+.
I thought I was losing my mind with the iPad keyboard! Glad they fixed it.
I was JUST going to post the same!
My “muscle memory” in my fingers kept going to the old location too — I thought Whaaaaat?
😮
Whew. Sanity restored.
😃
Updated an iPhone X and a XsMax. No probs.
Dis not fix the lightning cable BS with my X. Still have to plug unplug swear plug… really Apple?
What I want to know is, does it fix the bug that causes Music to launch randomly in the middle of bluetooth phone calls?
Apple needs to fix the ridiculous way to change from front to back camera on the new version of FaceTime. It used to be just touch the symbol in the view of yourself; now it’s touch the three dots which brings up a new screen which totally covers the video call; touch the symbol to swap cameras (which you don’t know whether it’s happened or not because the pop up screen completely covers everything), then swipe the pop up screen down without touching the big red X in the middle which disconnects the call. How could Apple make something so easy so complicated???
