“Apple has revealed that it will shutter its Apple Carrousel du Louvre retail store in Paris later this month,” Luke Dormehl writes for Cult of Mac. “The Apple Store, which has been open for nine years, is located beneath the pyramid in front of the world-famous, iconic Louvre museum.”
“Don’t fret, however: If you live in the area, Apple is about to open new, better retail store in the area,” Dormehl writes. “Apple is reportedly opening an Apple Store on the Champs-Élysées. The new Apple Store, set to open soon, will reportedly include a staff of around 200 people.”
“When Apple opened its Louvre store back in 2009, it was Apple’s 277th retail store opening — and the first Apple Store in France,” Dormehl writes. “Today, Apple has upwards of 504 Apple Stores, plus multiple across France.”

Very nice store. Kinda hidden though… Champs is the way to go.
I have been through the Louvre when the wife and I went to Paris. I really can’t remember seeing the Apple Store when there. Might be because it was out of the basic tourist, or because we have all the Apple products we need.
Thinking back, it does. to make se se ha being the store there because people would not b e impressed going through all the security just to get to an Apple Store. There are always a lot of people waiting in line and security is almost airport like.

Good move. Decent store, it was ok, but I rather be at Champs with a larger store and sunligth than underground. By the way, last time I was at the Champs a few years back, the place seemed to be on the down and out, compared to about a decade ago and beyond. I would imagine that Apple got a pretty sweet deal on the relocation, and a whole lot more space to play around with.
Formidable memories with this Apple store as my iPhone SE got pickpocketed while travelling in Paris this summer and ended up there to purchase another SE – The executive monsieur Excel (did I spell your name right?) was so compassionate – and I’m so grateful for that – Merci beaucoup Excel merci ! A bientot !
