11 new products Apple could release this fall

“Apple has been on an incredible run over the past decade, shooting nearly 1,200% higher and becoming the first American company to reach a trillion-dollar market capitalization,” Brad Moon writes for Kiplinger. “And when you look back at its meteoric rise, it’s unquestionably tied to a tireless march of blockbuster Apple products.”

“This fall is shaping up to be a pivotal one for Apple, and AAPL stock as the company tries to make a meaningful move above $1 trillion in market cap,” Moon writes. “Naturally there will be new iPhones, but Apple is rumored to be making some other big moves after the iPhone X’s 2017 launch was met with mixed results. The company also could open the floodgates across multiple product lines; if even half these new Apple products hit shelves for the holiday shopping season, the next Q1 report could be incredible.”

Here are 11 new Apple products to expect this fall – from sure bets to long shots:

• 2 New iPhone X Models
• A Big, Colorful, Affordable iPhone
• New Apple Watch
• New AirPods
• New iPad Pro
• AirPower
• MacBook Air Replacement
• New Mac mini
• Apple Studio Headphones
• Cheaper HomePod Smart Speaker

MacDailyNews Take: The longshots on the list beginning at “New Mac mini.”

    1. Nope. No Mac Pro coming this year. Pipeline has not deemed that important enough. Pipeline has no interest in selling Mac Pro’s so that is far down the list. First new emojis have to be developed. Then idiotic robotic doors at the Apple Spaceship campus.

There will be about 4 pros left waiting for a new Mac Pro by the time Pipeline thinks about releasing a new one. By then Pipeline will look at the market and say that there’s no demand for this and other Macs. The demand was there, for years. It is Pipeline that killed that demand. Pipepline’s inaction.

      1. Yes to “There will be about 4 pros left waiting for a new Mac Pro by the time Pipeline thinks about releasing a new one. By then Pipeline will look at the market and say that there’s no demand for this and other Macs.”

  1. The Mac mini proposal intrigues. Not necessarily for 2019 but perhaps a year or two down the road. ARM is doing a good job of advancing chip design (5 nm?) and my guess is that Apple engineers are all over this. There is disruption in the air.

  2. It just makes no sense for Apple to build a non-upgradable Mac Mini. RAM sockets and SSD connectors are so simple for anyone to replace those components. I honestly don’t understand Apple’s position on having soldered memory and storage and then charging more for it. I consider that a definite rip-off and I’m an Apple shareholder.

  3. I don’t believe in Apple anymore. Nothing “just really works”. Eventually it does but it takes too damn long. They might be highly profitable but along the way they lost their soul.

  4. I’ll be shocked if all this is were released. Apple can’t seem to get a couple phones out at the scheduled time without massive delays and other issues. As handicapped as their employees seem to be the past five years there would need to be about 700,000 employees to accomplish this task

  5. As Cook finally realized that his misguided and crazy conviction that Mac had to be integrated into iOS was totally wrong (took that much time to realize it?) and that’s not what Apple’s customers wanted. In the meantime of a long vacuum, we all suffered. Sigh…

  6. • 2 New iPhone X Models — no, just a new large screen model
    • A Big, Colorful, Affordable iPhone – not going to happen. Timmy will offer a new color on old hardware.
    • New Apple Watch – more likely new watch bands.
    • New AirPods – nope. more likely a new charging case that is compatible with the overpriced charging pad
    • New iPad Pro – maybe
    • AirPower – maybe
    • MacBook Air Replacement – about time, what took so long?
    • New Mac mini – about time, what took so long?
    • Apple Studio Headphones – not gonna happen
    • Cheaper HomePod Smart Speaker – not gonna happen

meanwhile the former core of Apple technology rusts….

    new Mac Pro – ?????
