MacDailyNews Take: Excellent.
Apple, give us a reason to use Apple Pay beyond looking like tech dorks in front of the line at the register. What’s the incentive to use Apple Pay? There is none besides looking like a flaming nerd. As if Apple doesn’t have any money. That, inexplicably, is how they approach Apple Pay. Hello, Tim? Eddy? Talk to some people who actually go to stores and shop for things, please.
Incentivize its use! Give Apple Pay users a percentage of every dollar spent via Apple Pay to spend at Apple Stores. Something. Anything! Get people used to using it first. Sheesh. It’s really not that difficult. It really isn’t. — MacDailyNews, August 6, 2015
It be nice such Apple Pay use discounts were available in the UK. I have used Apple pay for Booking.com site from the app.
I have nothing intelligent to say.
I only care about posting first because with nothing intelligent to say just post personal narcissistic Fakebook blather.
I don’t mind looking like a dork.
Neither do Apple’s thinness- and fashion-fixated designers.
I wonder if there are any Apple Pay exclusive offers for weight-loss programs? Or clothes that are so thin that no-one can put them on?
Don’t want to lose cash back. Apple needs to compensate for this loss somehow…then looking like a dork would be ok.
Why would you lose cash back, when Apple Pay is merely a more secure and convenient way of using your existing credit cards?
What I want to know is where are all the websites offering to pay with Apple Pay? IRRC Apple announced the ability to pay for goods on a website via Apple Pay a good time ago. I haven’t seen that at all. What happened?
