For verizon phones just use *67 just like your home phone.
This is so lame. #31# is a GSM code to block your caller ID from going out. It works with any GSM phone line. It has absolutely nothing to do with iPhones. It will work on AT&T and T-Mobile in the USA. It won’t work on Verizon or Sprint in the USA because they are CDMA. Repeat: This has nothing to do with having an iPhone. It’s a GSM code.
This is an excellent example of a poorly-researched article which I expect that consolidators such as MDN will evaluate and NOT republish. As someone above pointed out, these codes have nothing to do with iPhone, nor do they work on ALL iPhones.
I’m disappointed, MDN.
It’s worth noting that if you call a business with a toll-free (800, etc.) it will get your calling number even if you block it,,,
