MacDailyNews Take: iOS 12 will likely get faster as the betas progress and code is steamlined, debug code removed, etc.
When was the last time anyone saw a phone OS that speeded up older phones, especially that old? Apple deserves credit for this. It will be interesting to see the results obtained upon official release.
Does Samnsung’s 4-5 year old hardware even accept the new Android releases?

Well, yeah. Apple’s demographic is people with lots of money who love shiny graphical things. For blind people, they’re still ahead of Android, so we keep slavishly buying their products, hoping for something better to pop up one day.
