“Twitter has recommended all of its users change their passwords,” CNN reports.
“The company announced on Thursday it discovered a bug that saved user passwords on an internal log without proper encryption,” CNN reports. “Twitter said it has since fixed the issue.”
CNN reports, “Although there is no evidence passwords have been leaked or misused, it is urging its users to update their passwords.”
We recently found a bug that stored passwords unmasked in an internal log. We fixed the bug and have no indication of a breach or misuse by anyone. As a precaution, consider changing your password on all services where you’ve used this password. https://t.co/RyEDvQOTaZ

twitter is a bug, not a feature 😉
morons
I was done with Facebook 2 years ago. Looks like it’s time for Twitter to go as well.
Done …. oh, wait a minute … I don’t do Twitter nor ever will. Oh never mind ……
Shhhhh … Nobody tell Trump
… and so does GitHub!
So git over there as well and change it!
