Matthew Roberts’ latest Apple Park drone video, shot this month, show the latest changes at Apple Park.
Roberts’ aerial imagery was shot with a DJI Phantom 4 Pro.
Located on 175 acres, Apple Park will house some 12,000 employees in a central circular building of approximately 2,800,000 square feet. 80% of the site consists of green space planted with drought-resistant trees and plants indigenous to the Cupertino area. The center courtyard of the main building also features a man-made pond.
In the video, you can see the center and surrounding foliage is nearly all in place now:
MacDailyNews Take: Here’s how Apple Park looked a year ago (February 2017), drone footage also shot by Roberts:
So Apple can restart to focus on products and quality now?
We can only hope. Lets hope Jony’s beautifully crafted door handles don’t start to warp mind.
Well, completing the Mother Ship took long enough. I wonder what else Apple has in the works that can be delayed. Given Tim Cook’s proficiency for ineptitude I guess anything is possible.
Not long before Apple will force Cupertino to pass an anti-drone law.
Beautiful! Employing so many builders in California. And going all-out on solar. Love it!
Incredible!
Too bad Steve Jobs never got to see this. It must have been very important to him as the presentation to City Government was his last public appearance and he was obviously not well.
I’d like to see the actual pictures side by side the original concept drawings. It’s pretty impressive, except to the pathetic whiners up above.
