“Apple has increased its trade-in values for a bunch of old Mac models,” Killian Bell reports or Cult of Mac. “Machines released in 2009 and later could now earn you up to $2,500. That’s a generous $1,000 more than the previous limit.”
Here’s what you could make on machines released in 2009 or later:
• MacBook — up to $1,110
• MacBook Air — up to $430
• MacBook Pro — up to $2,500
• iMac — up to $2,500
• Mac Pro — up to $1,560

Just a scam to rip people off. “Machines released in 2009 and later could now earn you up to $2,500”, my estimate for a machine in PERFECT condition was, They would recycle it for free. What a deal.
Did you have to pay shipping to them for this “free recycling?”
I got my quote on a 2010 MacBook Pro – perfect condition – $75.00 – so this is a bunch of BS.
Offered me $155 for perfect condition 2011 iMac.
ever mind!
Right. $395 for my perfect condition mid 2014 MacBook Pro 16GB RAM, 128GB SSD. Wow. Jerks.
I have developed acute ‘Phobiophobia.’
