    1. Now you understand why my paradigm has changed regarding Apple…

While we used to be “Zero Day” adopters back in the days of OS 7, 8, 9, and then again with OS X ….

…. the “It Works” approach today is to hold off and wait until the “.2” patch ships.

  1. The upgrade had me scared for a moment as in it never rebooted my iMac 27″ 2017, but just slowly faded the screen down to a bizarre low dark glow.

Eventually I hit the power key, and now the installation proceeds. Hopefully it will complete successfully.

  2. DON’T DO IT. High Sierra killed my USB card reader. The big problem, it KILLS ADOBE LIGHTROOM and a variety of 3rd party plug ins and there is no current fix. .

I had to revert to Sierra.

    1. According to Adobe, “This issue has been fixed in Lightroom Classic CC 7.0.1 and Lightroom 6.13/CC 2015.13 releases.”

It usually takes Adobe about a month to update their software after a major OS update. All of the Creative Suite apps are running perfectly fine, as least for our office of seven pros.
