  2. Must be from an iOS 10 version update.
    Mine says this:

  3. Why would they confuse users with a complete rehash of iOS 11 features for just 0.0.x update? People needing to know about an “update” already have iOS 11 and don’t need to be re-sold on the new features. Poor signal to noise ratio in this release.

    1. They didn’t, simple error from MDN posting notes from the full upgrade screen not from a device already on 11.01. No need to overreact or pile onto an imagined Apple failure.

  4. I’m still seeing a 1/2 second keyboard lag which is driving me crazy.
Crappy battery drain has kind of settled down, but still not as good as it was before upgrading to iOS 11.
Notifications sucks the big one. Someone should have lost their job over that piece of garbage.
And they think I’m gonna upgrade to High Sierra after seeing how QA has now sunk to Microsoftian levels.

  5. Apple still need to learn about the rest of the world. Americans, on the whole, don’t travel and Apple still haven’t figured out how to support users who do. Europeans travel a lot and many commute between EU countries. So you might easily have apps from multiple stores and find that you cannot update some of them unless you change your appleID and register another national credit card to update necessary apps.

The UK and France are only 20miles apart but it’s not possible to update apps available only in the UK store if your AppleID is registered with a French credit card, and vice versa.

It is infuriating but probably affects a small number of people: Europe is still overwhelmingly Android.
