    1. I’ve been livin’ in AZ for some time now. But being an Ohio boy from way back when, I’m offended! (Go Browns / Go Dawgs) But then we always said, Ohio’s a great place to be from… 😁

  1. Watch the NFL? Why?

Continuing to boycott the 2018 season until Roger Goodell is gone, the Microsoft Surfaces are removed, and the whiney multi-millionaire snowflakes with an axe to grind are unemployed. I’m tired of listening to sportscasters bloviate about how righteous their held opinions are. Just call the game. No need for the editorializing.

Football was/is supposed to be an escape, a reprieve, a way for men to get emotional about something meaningless without repercussions.

The NFL front office has shat all over something wonderful, and turned it into something dirty and unbearable.

  2. I have been struggling with this issue myself. After multiple lies and failure to provide the service they promised when I signed up, Spectrum was finally able to piss me off enough to finally cut the cord. But I like to watch sports and NFL in particular, so I have been looking for options. I already have an antenna to get local broadcasts (need to add a HDHomerun DVR to my Plex server for OTA recording). GamePass looked like an option because I really want to watch my hometown team and not the local team (even as a replay after the fact), but at $99 and the many complaints I have read, it’s not worth it. I have Amazon Prime access, so it appears I can get Thursday night games there according to this article. I am going to sign up for PlayStation Vue and I hope the fills in the rest of my NFL and sports desires. If not, I will adjust.

As for my hardware, I have a 2nd and 3rd gen AppleTV that don’t support PlayStation Vue. I got a Roku Premiere+ while I wait for the new version of the AppleTV to come out, but the Roku is pretty damn good. And with Plex I can get all my movies/tv/videos from iTunes on the Roku like I used to do with the AppleTV.
