Which one is for you, Apple’s iPad, iPad Pro, or iPad mini?

“Whether you’re going back to school, starting a new job, or considering how an iPad may fit into your lifestyle, we’ve got the buyers guide for you,” Serenity Caldwell writes for iMore.

“Considering a new iPad, iPad Pro, or iPad Mini?” Caldwell writes. “Congratulations! Apple’s tablets are pretty great multitouch machines for work or play, and the Pro models are particularly fantastic tools for graphic artists and students.”

“I’ve been covering the iPad since its release in 2010 and have owned Apple tablets of all shapes, sizes, and cellular connectivity,” Caldwell writes. “With that knowledge (and a bit of help from fellow iMoreians), I’ve put together the latest version of our iPad buyers guide — a comprehensive manual to help both prior iPad owners and those considering their first iPad purchase.”

MacDailyNews Take: This is an excellent guide, complete with how to sell your old iPad. If your iPad has grown long in the tooth, with iOS 11 due shortly, there’s never been a better time to consider upgrading to a new one!

  1. I love my 12.9 iPad Pro as well as my mini, but I would buy a mini with pencil support in a heartbeat. I think a pencil supported mini would be a must-have for both students and professionals.

    1. Rob’s assertion is fair. Why one-star him. Perhaps he picked up a 13″ MacBook Air which gives his a full blown Mac operating environment in just about as small a package. Maybe he doesn’t want to learn how to cope with the awkward sandboxing under iOS (even though it is better under iOS 11). Maybe he like easily connecting his computer to USB devices.

No one has to like the iPad.

      1. This is MacDailyNews. If you dare speak the truth about the shortcomings of Apple/iOS, you are burned at the stake.

Trust me, I have 3rd degree burns all over for being a little too honest.
