“When the iPhone supplier Imagination Technologies Group Plc announced in April that Apple Inc. would no longer be using its graphics technology, investors in the small U.K. company were shocked. The graphics provider’s stock collapsed more than 60 percent,” Adam Satariano reports for Bloomberg. “But while investors were caught off guard by the move, Apple said Imagination had known for nearly two years that it was winding down the relationship.”
“Apple first informed Imagination in late 2015 that it would no longer be buying the U.K. company’s latest technology, Apple said in a statement to Bloomberg,” Satariano reports. “It continued using its older systems.”
“Imagination’s shares fell as much as 8 percent in London trading. The company said it disclosed the change of its relationship with Apple on April 3 ‘when it had sufficient clarity on Apple’s position,'” Satariano reports. “The timing of Imagination’s disclosure about losing Apple’s business will ‘almost certainly’ be reviewed by government regulators, said Tim Aron, a barrister who specializes in financial law and previously worked for the U.K.’s Financial Conduct Authority.”
“Imagination has questioned whether Apple can develop new graphics technology without using its intellectual property,” Satariano reports. “Responding to the allegations, Apple said it’s been using less and less of Imagination’s technology in recent years and that the supplier would have no way of knowing how its future products are designed.”

Fake News from Imagination Tech..?
CNN should sue for infringing on their technology.
Fake News – Stems from Russian sourced pop-up news outlets that show up during important social events. The trick is to lookup the source’s website registration. How old is the registration? You can’t believe just any news outlet, especially one with out a history. The practice of quoting other news sources tends to lead others to believe mainstream media promotes fake news.
The largest sources of misleading news among official American outlets, is both Fox News and tabloid outlets, like the Enquire. Remember Bat Boy?
CNN is guilty of sensationalism, at times, and like any news outlet prone to errors. However these days, the right or maybe not the right specifically, but the alt right, is targeting them and other mainstream media as fake-news, which isn’t correct.
The real fake news is a planned attack of the people by foreign influence – an act of war against the West and Democracy, against free speech and intent on influence and disruption.
Take on Russia Today, take on the 10,000 fake Facebook accounts and social army of Russian posters who disseminate the real fake news. Take on Trump for his attempt to redirect our frustrations against American media which is trying to help protect Democracy and the First Amendment.
Your post, although acceptable in relation to IT, is unfair to CNN and other outlets, such as NYT and Washington Post. If you really want to see a leftist news outlet go ahead and read Huntington Post, but still not so dangerous as real fake news.

As I blethered on about in the previous article about this brouhaha, Apple has full access to ARM GPU technology. Apple don’t need no Imaginational GPU technology.
