Bozoma Saint John officially leaves Apple Music for Uber

“Uber announced Tuesday that Bozoma Saint John has joined the company as its new Chief Brand Officer,” Jem Aswad reports for Variety.

“She joins the company from Apple, where she was the global head of consumer marketing for Apple Music & iTunes,” Aswad reports. “According to a statement from Uber, she will be ‘charged with helping build a deeper, more meaningful connection between Uber and its customers.'”

Aswad reports, “Her new role makes a high-profile statement for Uber, which has faced accusations of sexual harassment from female employees in recent months.”

  1. Sorry to see her go. Don’t know anything about the quality of her work at Apple, but very much enjoyed her one appearance last year. Can’t deny that Uber needs all the help they can get.

  2. Wow, bad move for Bozoma. She’s gone from the best company in the world to the worst. Maybe there’s a reason why the first four letters of her name are Bozo, with the last two showing who to blame?

There are no saints at Uber. There might be one now, but what a dumb, dumb, DUMB move!

This, sadly, will likely backfire on Bozoma. Trusting Kalanick with anything is folly. Uber will collapse soon enough. Sad.
