Apple continues to put the final touches on the company’s new 175 acre campus in Cupertino, with a grand opening set for September 2017.
Apple Park is planned to house more than 12,000 employees in one central four-storied circular building of approximately 2,800,000 square feet.
On February 22nd, Apple announced that Apple Park, the company’s new 175-acre campus, will be ready for employees to begin occupying in April, but that deadline came and went. When it begins, likely this month, the process of moving more than 12,000 people will take over six months, and construction of the buildings and parklands is scheduled to continue through the summer.
The Steve Jobs Theater still needs a lot of work.

Will be interesting to see exactly what staff will be moving in even in May, it’s hardly a suitable environment for creativity at present is it. Which I guess will suit Cook’s mentality perfectly.
While I appreciate the effort, why can’t they just post the raw video without the stupid cuts and horrible fast forward effects. It basically makes it unwatchable.

I am suspicious of the motives, perhaps hidden, of central planning especially on such grand scale. Regarding creativity and collaboration, no. I see little reason that the Fascist style will promote good creativity and useful collaboration.
Still, I hope that I am wrong and hope that the extremely truncated MacPro architectural shape – which by the way is not original – bodes well for the future of Apple and me as an Apple product enthusiast.
