  1. Is it just me or has anybody else noticed that the Watch Now section of the TV is broken now? Since installing 10.3, all I see is Unavailable at this time. Try again later. I’m hoping 10.3.1 fixes this. The TV app has gotta a lot of flack but I found it very useful and now – one release after it was introduced – it’s broken. Smh.

    1. I applied this update to get the TV app working. I did notice that the TV app was working while the download was going on so undoubtedly it was a server issue with Apple and they fixed it. So now, I have a new mess. Once this update completed, my LTE is down to a crawl. Not sure if this is because of my location – not the best but I usually do ok here – but it is SLOW. I hope this isn’t an on-going issue.

  2. For some users, it might be worthwhile to do a full iPhone restore (to factory settings).

After the 10.3.0 update, I noticed a 3GB difference between the storage “available” on my 32GB iPhone SE and the amount that iTunes indicate was “free” (6GB and 10GB, respectively). After executing the option to “Manually Backup and Restore,” both storage indicators showed an increase of 1GB, but there was still a 3GB difference. After “Restoring iPhone” to factory settings and then restoring apps and data from backup, an additional 5GB became available on the iPhone and the amount indicated in iTunes was nearly in agreement (12GB).

  3. I’m hoping this fixes the weird behaviour on my SE whilst locked. Under 10.3.0 it’s been ignoring the fingerprint sensor about 50% of the time, and while listening to music the headphone controls have a big response delay. Unlock the phone and both problems correct themselves.

  4. I’ve had the features listed above since updating to 10.3 last week. I actually used Find My AirPods last night. Weird that this update is coming so fast. Even weirder that they’re listing all these features as coming in a x.x.1 release.

  5. Interesting that MDN chooses to rattle off all the features promised in iOS 10.3.

This release, iOS 10.3.1, is a security bugfix reported by Gal Beniamini at Google. Security info here:

It is a sad day when Apple can’t even release a piece of software without having to follow it up a few days later with Google showing Apple their bugs.

Tim’s pipeline may be deep, but his quality control sucks.

    1. Where have you been for the last few decades? Don’t you know there is no such thing as bugless software. A small security bugfix! Big deal!
But no sense losing an opportunity to petulantly complain, right?

  6. I updated to 10.3.1 a couple days ago. I am now having problems with the sounds for notification you have s text, iMessage, etc. I have adjusted the volumes and get no fix. The vibrate works nut the sound is not working properly. Any ideas how to fix this would be appreciated.

  7. Ever since I’ve done the 10.3.1 update I’ve not been able to connect to the internet, I’ve reset my router and there’s nothing wrong with it as I can connect on all my other devices. It says I’m connected but I can’t do anything the uses internet. Please fix!

  8. Anybody seen issues with 10.3.1, ActiveSync and OoO forwarding Meeting Invites?
Our company use Exchange2016 and only iPhones with 10.3.1 are having this issue.
Timing seems to be a user has set their OoO, later opens their iPhone, ActiveSync notifies them of a Meeting Reminder.
But the OoO is triggering and send a Fwd of the Meeting Invite back to the invitees.

  9. We have also seen within the last week a few mail users that are somehow auto forwarding meetings they were previously invited to. They use an iPhone, most, but not all, are running iOS 10.3.1. We use Cloud Office 365. These users who did not manually forward the meeting invite did not have OOO enabled. Wondering if a meeting notification on their iPhone is some how triggering the mail forwarding.
