“Detectives in Virginia are looking for a woman who disguised herself as a Target employee and stole more than $40,000 worth of iPhones,” NBC4 reports.

“The woman, dressed as an employee of Target, walked into the Richmond Highway store and made her way back to the stockroom,” NBC4 reports. “Once inside, she placed the iPhones in a box and left the store, Fairfax County police said.”

NBC4 reports, “Surveillance cameras were able to capture pictures of the woman.”

  1. Actual quote from the thief, verbatim:

Yo, yo, what? Target be havin’ security cameras all up in this shit? Is you fuckin’ kidding me? Hey, cracker, you like my weave? It be lookin’ just like my mammy’s. Fo’ shizzle! Hey, wanna buy an iPhone?

    1. Frame that post and caption, “Anonymous Internet posts are society’s biggest problem.” What a repugnant remark. I am tired of all the Racism debates, but they won’t stop until assholes like you quit posting shit like that. You are an immature wanker, and THAT is the Brutal Truth.

      1. I thought it was obvious, theft is bad. People succumb to temptation. I bet the crook either worked for Target, or their friend did. But still the contingency should be, all high end electronics get locked up.

        1. I would not describe this as “temptation.” It was not a sudden urge to steal something. This person planned the theft, donned a (poor) disguise, then stole a bunch of iPhones. This was premeditated, not a momentary lapse of reason (Pink Floyd reference!).

        2. Temptation can be momentary or premeditated. People steal kill and all other sorts of ilk. It’s wrong, in any case premeditated or impulse. The job of any store leader role or responsible party is to take reasonable steps to protect the inventory. That’s why there are locks on the front door. With items of high demand or desirability, extra measures should be taken. I am not saying the manager is responsible for the theft, but they are responsible for securing stock. Employees theft is a real thing. I think the manager is culpable to some extent, in addition to the brazen thief. This is not much different than leaving a car out in the open with keys or valuables, inside. Its not patently wrong, but unwise. You wouldn’t have Forest Gump run the football team, but he does make a good receiver.

    1. All of the Targets that I’ve worked in (I’m a field service tech) have had electronics storerooms that are separate from the main stock in the back. And, those electronics rooms have locks! Either this store is weirdly different, or this thief had inside help.

      1. Exactly someone wasn’t doing their job or its an inside job. I one worked at Longs Drugs, yep cages for the important stuff. Only thing that wasn’t locked up was toilet paper and wheat thins.

  2. Don’t they have serial numbers they can give to Apple so the phones are auto-bricked or blocked? (It’s getting so a criminal stealing Apple goods can’t make a dishonest livin’ anymore.)

    1. Electronics are kept in a smaller stockroom, separate from the main room, with its own lock. The door to the room is easy to see, as it is in the Electronics section of the store. But how did she open the lock?

  3. Am I the only one left wanting this to have taken place during the Note 7 fiasco and she took a bunch of those instead? Oh well, although no common sense, at least she has good taste! 😂
