“tvOS 10.2’s enhancements include accelerated scrolling in apps, support for the Device Enrollment Program, and better mobile device management in general,” Rpger Fingas reports for AppleInsider. “It should also offer VideoToolbox, a framework that lets developers tap into hardware-accelerated encoding and decoding.”

“watchOS’ new SiriKit support should expand the voice commands an Apple Watch supports to third-party apps, for instance letting people send a message or hail a ridesharing service,” Fingas reports. “The Theater Mode kills sound and disables raise-to-wake, preventing a Watch from becoming an audience distraction.”

  1. Wasn’t iOS 10.3 supposed to have the new file structure? Were we not warned to *completely* back up our iOS devices before upgrading to iOS 10.3 because of that?

What happened? Did it not materialize?

  2. Looks like a pretty shyte update to me ,anyways.
Not going to perform this crap update.
Nothing in this iOS update for me to even, remotely, consider performing this update.
Some users have performed this update already and these users are still reporting the new Apple TV App is still total crap and have NOT fixed the offline video viewing issues.
Total crap update as far as I am concerned.
I am still staying with iOS 10.1.1.
iOS 10.3? No Thank You, Apple!

  3. Apple: thank you for giving me back the ‘Save Image’ option on linked images in iOS Mail and Safari. It’s almost been a year since it was taken from us, but I hope all my complaining contributed… In communication with them, all I was offered was something similar to :”Well, that’s life…”.

  4. Updated 3 iPads (mini, regular and pro). Mini repeatedly crashed while using Reeder and then got stuck in a boot loop. Still trying to sort now, but suspect a full reload of the mini might be necessary.

  5. I’m getting some weird glitch on my iPad Pro- the VPN setting will not load from the normal General page- I have to do a search in order to bring up the usual settings page for the VPN. No issue on my iPhone SE, updated at the same time, with the same VPN settings.

  6. Nice update! Next, can we please add the ability to report spam voice (robo) calls? I’m getting them about once per week now. The only way to fight it is a system-wide spam reporting feature. Apple?

  7. 😀😀😀 OK TO UPGRADE TO iOS 10.3. IF ROTATION TO HORIZONTAL DOESN’T WORK. TURN OFF IPAD. HORIZONTAL AND SPLIT SCREEN WILL WORK OK. SORRY I SHOULD HAVE TRIED THIS BEFORE POSTING ABOVE.
