“‘Planet’ is a word worth emphasizing from the title of Apple’s new TV show, ‘Planet of the Apps,'” Jon Erlichman reports for BNN. “This spring, Apple will premiere its first reality television series, which will shine the spotlight on a diverse pool of talented app developers.”
Erlichman reports, “Some have described ‘Planet of the Apps’ as a mash up of ‘Shark Tank’ and ‘The Voice.'”

Given that Apple’s subscriber-based music service is available around the world, the show’s producers felt it was important to give it a global feel.”
Erlichman reports, “Apple is planning to give successful apps from the show featured placement in the App Store.”

So did the producers of “Shark Tank” and “The Voice” when they originally conceived it.
I love how a lot of people are writing off the show before they even watch a single episode. I can understand those that say it doesn’t interest them but the “haters” have maybe only seen the trailer. It could be the worst show ever produced or it could be good. Watch an episode or two before judging.
Is it true that you’ll have to be an Apple Music subscriber to watch this TV show? if so, does that make any sense, really? What does this show have to do with music???

The show just seems like a pathetic, half a$$Ed, maybe people will watch if we hire some celebrities, with a well worn reality show stale premise, TV show …… that only the typical, out of touch, corporate executive would think is interesting.
Just buy Netflix and get it over with.
And put your efforts into updating some of your horribly out of date Macs and regressive stale OS’s.
