Apple has debuted two new television commercials for the company’s iPad Pro as part of their Twitter-themed ad campaign.
In the first 15-second spot, “Need Less Things,” Apple says the iPad Pro can replace a scanner, a pad of paper and a laptop. And then, for some “comic” relief, there’s a ventriloquist’s dummy. You know, because office stuff is boring.
In the second 15-second ad, “Take Better Notes,” Apple says iPad Pro and Apple Pencil have revolutionized the way we take notes and, if you fall asleep in class, you can even record lectures, too. Apple’s iPad Pro is literally perfect for students!

MacDailyNews Take: The more ads for iPad Pro, the better. These two are perfectly serviceable.
Interns: TTK!!!

Maybe Apple buys Twitter?
You heard it here first…
We heard it here LAST
Maybe I’m out of the target demographic? These are cringe-worthy for my tastes.
Only in AppleLand does Pro = Designed for Twitter.
The “MS Word App” version of the current iPad campaign I think may come back to bite them when people realize the competing Surface devices are running the full featured application.
The Pros were my first iPads ever. Reason? The stylus is the best digital handwriting right now. IMO if Paper + Pen =100, iPad Pro =80 Surface Pro 4 =70. It’s the only reason I got one.
Ads are so……Tim Cookish….
Just saying….
Is it the right time for a heavy campaign when the ship time is like 3 weeks?
Weak promoter of the Apple brand. It’s more of a Twitter promoter.
Dumb Ads
iPad Pro + Pencil = Extremely good pairing for illustrators.
How do you scan a page of text with a portable machine without skewing the image?
My laptop runs Mac OS/X. No dumbed-down iOS device is ever going to replace it.
And I don’t use twitter. It’s for the birds.
