Quick question: Is there a setting anywhere on the Apple Watch in “nightstand mode” to keep the time display ON as it charges? It doesn’t serve very well as a nightstand clock if it’s OFF and dark after a few seconds.

There is not I assume to save the display life? But All you have to do is slightly bump whatever surface the watch is on and i lights up. I love just tapping my night stand and see the time
It it an oled display on the watch? Isnt that supposed to use less power? If its charging, couldnt there be an option to make it stay on as long as its charging? Would be nice to have the options….

like real tiny mac with macOS boot screen, chicago font, colors, rainbow Apple logo, etc
There are plenty room for extend this idea.
Iworked in the first retail chain apple had at the first store, I sold more 128’s than anyone first year… my big regret when apple flew in and offered me a job i chose to stay in university… ouch!
I got one 2 days ago – Awesome stand , the best of the three that I own for my watch. High quality! And I have my 128k mac sitting next to it!
