“Apple’s special Black Friday shopping event is now live in the United States and Canada, offering customers free Apple Store gift cards worth up to $150 or CA$200 with the purchase of selected Apple products today only,” Joe Rossignol reports for MacRumors.
Rossignol reports, “The offers are available through Apple’s website and retail stores in both countries.”
U.S. rebate amounts include:
• Macs: $150 (iMac, Mac Pro, MacBook, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro sans late 2016 models)
• iPad Pro: $100
• iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 4: $50
• iPhone 6s and 6s Plus: $50
• iPhone SE: $25
• Apple Watch Series 1: $25

This is joke for sure, The only savings and I emphasize slight savings are if you order a Macbook Pro 2016 with touchbar from a reseller. You save on sales tax and free shipping. B&H Photo through in Parallels for free a $79.00 value. Adorama offers the machine for $10.00 less. I won’t buy from Apple anymore, their being so stingy and greedy.

Quite disappointed that Apple excluded the 2016 MBP from the discount list. I have often found good Black Friday sales on Apple toys at Best Buy, but no joy on the new MBP there this year either.
