MacDailyNews Take: Oh, yes, it’s snappy!
Wondering if this will fix some of the bugs with Photoshop?
This update still doesn’t fix a problem with Finder. Selecting items with Shift+arrow or Command+arrow STILL doesn’t work right. Does Apple intend to fix this?
Addresses a “Filter Failed” error when printing to some Canon printers.
Thank you. (One of my submissions to Apple).
Boring details (for the boring like me): 😉 I had one specific page (in a Sony manual PDF) that triggered the filter fail. I had to print around that page using Preview. I then had to (gross me out) use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (a PITA) to print the deadly single page. I was printing to the Canon MX880 series driver.
I don’t see other bugs I reported fixed, but I haven’t joined the update queue until now…
Further Fixes Found:
Safari 10.0.1/Preferences/Advanced/Accessibility: Never use font sizes smaller than [ ] is back. I know its removal in 10.0.0 ticked off many.
Not yet fixed:
The odd/intermittent loss of the Move to Trash sound. – – I’ve had it work after 10.12.0 installs. Then it’s gone. This reinforces the fact that Apple still has some fixing to do with the Finder.
It’s not boring if it is happening to you.
One of the synchronistic subjects of my week has been the confrontation between relational personalities and productive personalities out in the human world of communication. We productive personalities are ‘boring’ because we don’t converse in the same way about the same things as relational personalities. Except we productive personalities find the things that relational personalties converse about to be boring.
Example Subject: The Kardashians.
My point of view: The Kardashians are a boring, irrelevant subject. I want to talk about the recent discovery that many or most Android OS devices using ARM CPUs can be entirely owned in 5 seconds using rowhammer RAM attack methods. It was the discussion topic on the Security Now podcast on Tuesday. I want to know if the attack can be applied to iOS devices as well…
Boring is yet another thing in the mind of the beholder.
Anyone have a link to the Combo Update yet?
@ Jaribbs Assuming you are asking seriously, there is no Combo updater for an x.1 release. Or more precisely, the regular updater is also the Combo updater. 🙂
I downloaded Sierra & I can’t close my max tried everything.
Can’t close your max, huh? Maybe try the min instead?
