Latest Wikileaks email leak includes Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta’s Apple ID and password

“Unauthorized users appear to have accessed Hillary Clinton Campaign Chairman John Podesta’s various accounts after an email containing his Apple ID and password was found within the recent WikiLeaks email release,” Charlie Nash reports for Breitbart.

“One user is alleged to have remotely erased Podesta’s iPhone after accessing his Apple account, which contained Podesta’s phone number, address, and various email accounts,” Nash reports. “Another user tagged WikiLeaks editor Julian Assange in a Twitter post along with various screenshots of Podesta’s Apple account and the comment: ‘“You are going to be getting some interesting information shortly.'”

“WikiLeaks have released numerous batches of emails sent from and to Podesta,” Nash reports, “and the leaked emails have since revealed the Clinton Campaign’s coziness to mainstream media reporters, distaste for Catholics, disregard for shootings that could not further their gun control agenda, and Podesta’s very own obsession with extraterrestrials.”

MacDailyNews Take: Once again, too many people use one password for multiple services and weak passwords at that. Once hackers get it or guess it, they then have access to all sorts of things: cloud storage, bank accounts, Facebook, Twitter, email, etc.

You want to use unique, strong passwords. Use two-step verification for Apple ID to keep your personal information as secure as possible. More info here.

As we’ve written umpteen times: Use Apple’s Keychain Access and iCloud Keychain to create and manage them. When used properly, this system works like a dream.

  1. With 69.5 million members, the Catholic Church is the largest religious body in the United States, comprising 22% of the population as of 2015. And they vote.

For too many Dem/Lib/Progs, one pet issue supersedes all of the other issues (for Cook, it’s H-1B visas so he can get cheap labor – see below). So, even though Cook agrees more with Republicans than Democrats on corporate taxation and other issues, he cuts off his nose to spite his face.

Tim, it’d be cheaper to pay American workers a fair wage and get a sound corporate tax policy than it would be to continue importing cheap foreign labor on H-1B visas and be stuck with Democrats who love to overtax and tax the wrong things which stifles the economy overall (hurting the business of selling consumer goods, including electronics, by the way).

American companies and their shareholders, in general, want skilled labor as CHEAPLY as possible. That’s a main reason why Tim Cook, Apple and other tech firms are not supporting Trump – they want unlimited H-1Bs, so they can pay Ajeet from India half what they’d have to pay Tom from Tulsa who can’t find a job after graduating from college and has to live in his parents basement because Apple got Ajeet from India to do it on the CHEAP.

H1-B visas for skilled workers DO NOT EQUAL uneducated illegal aliens streaming across the southern border intent on cashing in on American taxpayer’s largesse while setting up shop in the domestic drug trade and/or other crimes (gangs, rape, robbery, etc.).

Trump is for upholding the laws already on the books designed to protect our borders.

    Donald Trump’s official policy:

Increase prevailing wage for H-1Bs. We graduate two times more Americans with STEM degrees each year than find STEM jobs, yet as much as two-thirds of entry-level hiring for IT jobs is accomplished through the H-1B program. More than half of H-1B visas are issued for the program’s lowest allowable wage level, and more than eighty percent for its bottom two. Raising the prevailing wage paid to H-1Bs will force companies to give these coveted entry-level jobs to the existing domestic pool of unemployed native and immigrant workers in the U.S., instead of flying in cheaper workers from overseas. This will improve the number of black, Hispanic and female workers in Silicon Valley who have been passed over in favor of the H-1B program. Mark Zuckerberg’s personal Senator, Marco Rubio, has a bill to triple H-1Bs that would decimate women and minorities.

Requirement to hire American workers first. Too many visas, like the H-1B, have no such requirement. In the year 2015, with 92 million Americans outside the workforce and incomes collapsing, we need companies to hire from the domestic pool of unemployed. Petitions for workers should be mailed to the unemployment office, not USCIS.

End welfare abuse. Applicants for entry to the United States should be required to certify that they can pay for their own housing, healthcare and other needs before coming to the U.S.

Jobs program for inner city youth. The J-1 visa jobs program for foreign youth will be terminated and replaced with a resume bank for inner city youth provided to all corporate subscribers to the J-1 visa program.

Refugee program for American children. Increase standards for the admission of refugees and asylum-seekers to crack down on abuses. Use the monies saved on expensive refugee programs to help place American children without parents in safer homes and communities, and to improve community safety in high crime neighborhoods in the United States.

Immigration moderation. Before any new green cards are issued to foreign workers abroad, there will be a pause where employers will have to hire from the domestic pool of unemployed immigrant and native workers. This will help reverse women’s plummeting workplace participation rate, grow wages, and allow record immigration levels to subside to more moderate historical averages.

    1. I am going to be civil and polite, but here goes:
Not all Democrats are Liberals or Progressives.
Not all Progressives are Liberals or Democrats.
Not all Liberals are Democrats or Progressives.

The Progressive movement started in the Republican Party and should never be equated with Liberalism in the American vernacular. The Democratic Party for most of it’s history has been a fairly conservative party.

Ms Clinton is a NeoLiberal- not a Liberal in the American sense.

Ms Clinton is NOT a Progressive. She staunchly defended DOMA, gave Dubya a blank check, opposes Wall Street Reform, encourages light touch regulation of Financial Services, thinks Ed Snowden is a criminal, is a great fan of the National Security State and is on the record behind closed doors as favoring an open market for labor and capital throughout the Western Hemisphere, cutting Social Security and opposes Tuition Free Higher Public Universities.

That is hardly a Liberal or a Progressive. That is actually y pretty classic mainstream Republican.

Maybe you didn’t know that, maybe you do not care. Either way, Goldwater Girl Hillary is far closer to the GOP’s traditions than FDR, JFK or LBJ.

      1. An impressive list of political labels you’ve amassed in your post, however, you’ve omitted the one that is true:

Hillary Merkel is a globalist, a traitor to American sovereignty.

“The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.”

        Winston Churchill

    2. You smoke too much weed, man. You blather on more than Donald Trump. What I do like is your ability to make shit up on the fly. That’s an art.

BTW- Trump is losing, badly. That puts you in a bind. Ytour moniker will have no meaning when the Repbulcians implode in the Nov. Election.

Maybe you could change it to, “First I’m an asshole, then I’m still an asshole.”

    3. You are just setting yourself up for a huge disappointment next month.

By the way, if you think Clinton was reckless by using a Mac server for email just like Powell and many other high ranking government officials from your party too, you must be really scratching your head about Trump’s technical credentials.

Donald Trump’s 10 year old son apparently isn’t quite the cyber security genius that The Donald bragged about in the first debate. He has spent most of the campaign badmouthing Apple, and he relies on antiquated Microsoft services to host his own insecure email.

Clinton can rightly claim that her staffers did some things that shouldn’t have been done. But there was no malicious intent, and security was not compromised according to FBI investigation and public review of the released emails. Meanwhile Trump is nothing but malicious on all things, and his email service — when it works — is a complete security joke. Every 4 years it is the lesser of two evils. Sorry to say, but this time the Republicans have no one to blame but themselves for nominating such a loser.

How about them tax returns, Donny? You said you’d release yours as soon as Buffett released his. Warren Buffett released 40 years of tax returns the next day. Interestingly, Buffett pays significant taxes, as do the Clintons. Perhaps because they believe in America?

  4. This is pretty much a witch hunt, with little direguard for truth or justice. It’s digital rape.

But I suppose some posters here believe that a thug’s life is the good life, with little disregard for their fellow compatriot as long as they think they are winning or getting away with something. Poor sportsmanship from the best vantage point.

Sure, here you go: Bill Clinton should’ve been jailed for rape and sexually abusing women long before being elected U.S. President and I don’t like Trump’s hair.

  6. Fisty and Botty and FoxDailyNews.
You are going to lose, and lose BIG.
I’ll stick around long enough to grab your pu$$ies in November, but then I, and dozens of others will leave this stink hole of a website.

  7. Wikileaks once vowed they would NEVER release personal info in their document releases. Guess idealism goes out the window when you’ve got a political ax to grind. So Julian, when are you going to release Trump’s taxes?
