Apple investing billions in Denmark on new data center and biogas research

“Apple has followed up on its promise last year to build a data centre in Denmark with an ambitious agreement with the University of Aarhus on a new biogas research and development partnership,” CPH Post reports.

“‘This is a clearly a benefit of Apple’s billion-kroner investment in the data centre in Foulum,’ said the foreign minster, Kristin Jensen,” CPH Post reports. “Foulum is a small town outside of Viborg where Aarhus University’s agricultural research facilities are located.”

CPH Post reports, “Under the terms of the agreement, Apple will provide financial support to the university’s research into biogas and how usable energy can be extracted from agriculture, whether it is fertiliser or straw supplied by local farmers.”

    1. You’re probably referring to analysts and investors who’ll continue to dump Apple because they think Apple’s greening ideas are nothing but a waste of time and money. I’m quite certain Apple’s share price will continue to fall as Tim Cook tries to turn Apple into the greenest company on the planet. You do realize Wall Street hates tech companies who spend money on things that have nothing to do with tech and boosting revenue. The big investors only care about making money. Saving the ecology is something they simply don’t give a damn about.

    2. Hmmm, yes you are right. But those same anal…ysts seem to forget that Apple is really talking ENERGY… you know.. oil.. gas… wind… solar….. ENERGY.

      What happens when, quietly, Apple becomes the largest NON OIL drilling energy name in the world….. I am sure Apple stock will take a hit….. LOL,,,
