“Apple today released another update for Safari Technology Preview, the experimental browser Apple first introduced in March of 2016,” Juli Clover reports for MacRumors. “Apple designed the Safari Technology Preview to test features that may be introduced into future release versions of Safari.”

“Safari Technology Preview release 12 includes bug fixes and updates for JavaScript, Web APIs, Web Inspector, MathML, CSS, rendering, and accessibility,” Clover reports. “Several security fixes are also included.

Clover reports, “As of release 8, Safari Technology Preview has supported Apple Pay in the web browser, a feature set to launch as part of macOS Sierra.”
