“In an interview for Good Morning Britain, global diva Barbra Streisand has revealed how she once called up Steve Jobs to ask him for computer advice,” Luke Dormehl reports for Cult of Mac. “”
“‘I couldn’t figure out something on my computer and nobody could figure it out, no IT guy, so I said, ‘Can you get Steve Jobs on the phone?” she recalled,” Dormehl reports. “As it turns out, she could. But even Jobs was unable to offer a solution.”
Dormehl reports, “‘Sure enough, I asked him about this problem and he couldn’t figure it out,’ she continued. ‘He gave me his IT guy, who also couldn’t figure out. That was funny.'”

The “speech” feature on her Mac could NOT pronounce her name correctly either… 🙂

The issue was probably something stupid that Jobs didn’t have the heart or guts to tell her that she was a flaming idiot that shouldn’t be using a computer anyways. Typical Monkey.

Article didn’t say whether she was using a Mac or not… That could have been the issue.
(I’m not familiar with whether she has been a long time Mac fan)
Actually, Steve gave her the answer right there over the phone.
Then he paused and said, “THAT’S IT!!!”
. . . and that’s where the Get A Mac ad campaign came from. 😉
Turns out, all she had to do was trash a prefs file 😉
Babs has similar issues with her car that she needs support. Turned out to be the nut behind the wheel.
She couldn’t change the screensaver she had of an hi-def arial shot of her house and surrounding properties.
So, what was the problem?
I’m sure one of us here could solve it.
