Apple Seeds Seventh Beta of iOS 10 to Developers and Public Beta Testers

“Apple today seeded the seventh beta of iOS 10 to developers and public beta testers for testing purposes, just four days after releasing the sixth beta and more than two months after first unveiling the new operating system at its 2016 Worldwide Developers Conference,” Juli Clover reports for MacRumors.

“It is not clear what is included in beta 7, but given its unconventional release date, it may contain critical bug fixes,” Clover reports.

“OS 10 beta 7 is available as an over-the-air download to those who installed the first six betas or the beta configuration profile,” Clover reports, “and it’s available for direct download via Apple’s Developer Center (developers only). ”

  1. Using the Betas of both iOS ans Mac OS and both seem very stable and bug free on my devices amd I have a faitly atypical setup, which bodes well. The early bugs I passed along all seem to be gone excepting an issue with Citrix launching because the ica that cones from a Safari login is rejected.

The Certificate thing is only on Mac Safari- no problem on iOS. No other bugs left. Hopefully this release will kill it.

    1. iOS 10 is very snappy and made my old iPhone 5 feel new again..not an exaggeration at all.

Question, on my 6, if I go to a contact and try to reassign the ringtone or text tone for that contact, the list is mostly obscured by white space. The list is still there (you can select the white areas and items are there). I’ve submitted this, but the feedback app is stuck on “compressing” status, lol.

Do you get that graphic issue when selecting ringtones for a contact? It’s still there for me in this build. I haven’t asked about it in the forums yet (keep forgetting).

    1. Had severe battery drain last night. Woke to find 15% when at 60% before I went to bed. Checked battery usage via system prefs, and messages used it all in “background”. Was messing around with touch and draw message last night..so I’m guessing problem is still there and tied to messages.
