Apple App Store rejects satirical Hillary Clinton game, despite offering dozens of anti-Trump games

“Apple has refused to publish a political satire game criticizing Hillary Clinton’s email deletion, after branding the game as ‘offensive’ and ‘objectionable,’ despite many graphic Trump games remaining on the platform,” Charlie Nash reports for Breitbart Tech. “‘Capitol HillAwry,’ created by Base 10 Games, describes itself as ‘a political satirical game where the objective is to collect as much money through email donations as possible while maintaining a decent approval rating in the polls.'”

Once you have booted up your server you will begin to receive various emails and spam. It is your objective to delete any confidential information off of the server by swiping the emails to the right. Removing confidential emails will improve your poll rating. You will also receive political donor emails, which will help earn you money. Be sure to swipe those to the left to respond. The more donations you take, the more your poll rating will go down and if you do nothing with the emails, they will eventually expire and have consequences. – “Capitol HillAwry” game description

“There is nothing offensive about the game, we have played it. However Apple has rejected the game not just once, but twice, after the developers appealed the first decision and even hired a ‘professional satire writer’ for the project after being advised to by an employee at Apple,” Nash reports. “Despite labeling the Clinton email satire game as ‘mean spirited’ and ‘offensive,’ dozens of anti-Donald Trump games can be seen on the app store featuring highly graphic content.”

“‘Trump Dump’ is a game where the Republican presidential candidate is literally portrayed as a giant lump of faeces,” Nash reports. “‘Dump on Trump Twisty Wheel Edition’ and ‘Dump on Trump Bird’ are also published on the store, both featuring Trump being coated in bodily fluids one way or another… Another app where you can punch the presidential candidate in the face are also available to download.”

MacDailyNews Take: Is this really Apple Inc.’s official position or just another example of an individual App Store reviewer’s arbitrary decision?

Some people have said that I shouldn’t get involved politically because probably half our customers are Republicans – maybe a little less, maybe more Dell than ours. But I do point out that there are more Democrats than Mac users so I’m going to just stay away from all that political stuff because that was just a personal thing. — Steve Jobs, August 2004

    1. Nah, Godwin, it was Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

She got a job as an App Store reviewer for the five minutes between when she was booted from the DNC for rigging the primary and when Crooked Hillary hired her to chair of her trainwreck of a campaign because Debbie knows where some of the bodies are buried.

    1. My god, you again are setting yourself up for such a hard fall this fall! You’e orb ably not going to know what hit you – even though the same thing has hit you so many times now.

I love it, every time you think you’re going to win – you lose!

I will say I do admire your fierce passion.

You will lose again. And again.

      1. Like the GOP “lost” in 2014? 🙂

The Democrat Party has actually managed to nominate a worse candidate than Donald J. Trump. Even with a corrupt, complicit media, Queen Baggage will lose.

This is not a year for The Establishment. Crooked Hillary is The Establishment. Donald J. Trump will win the presidency. Mark my words.

        1. Whatever her faults, at least Secretary Clinton isn’t calling on a hostile foreign power to hack American computers in order to directly intervene in US electoral politics.

          This morning’s Trump soundbite:

“Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 e-mails that are missing,” Trump said, in an apparent reference to Clinton’s State Department emails. “I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press. Let’s see if that happens. That’ll be next.”

        2. FBI couldn’t find them on their own. Perhaps they should have contacted the hackers. These emails were nefarious and HRC went to special efforts to make sure they weren’t recoverable because they were incriminating. If not, she would have saved him for her future books.

        3. If Hillary’s e-mails were just about yoga schedules and Chelsea’s wedding plans, then she might welcome the e-mails being published.

However……. if they do actually concern security issues……..
then I am not surprised she does not want them released.

        4. Trump is establishment, too, just a slightly different one. Trump’s establishment lives in mansions, flies in private jets, and considers the average worker to be just another cog in the revenue/profit wheel to be exploited.

Trump also has another establishment – his ego. Clearly it is seeking to expand outside of his head.

Unlike makemineamac, I do not admire your fierce passion. You are misguided.

        5. Melvin, Melvin, Melvin…if Trump is “establishment” why has every RINO from jeb¡ to George Will to Paul Ryan to Türd Cruz to Sour Krauthammer and The National Review pulled out every stop to destroy his candidacy?

Melvin, sweetheart, the “establishment” doesn’t say stuff like:
“We will no longer surrender this country and her people to the false song of globalism.”

      2. This Morning:
        General Election: Trump vs. Clinton
        LA Times/USC
        Trump 47, Clinton 40
        Trump +7

that’s quite a convention “bounce” The Rapist Enabler is getting so far. She’s goin’ down, but this time not on Huma.

Life is good…noodle salad, paddleboat rides and The Pantsuit Succubus droppin’ faster than Horndog Billy’s zipper on Pedo Island.

    1. I just went on the App Store. There are plenty of anti-Hillary apps. These guys are BS. Most of the apps for Hillary, Trump, and Berny are simple apps. These people must have had some BS in it that Apple won’t allow no matter what. They just want people to feel sorry for them. Or their total Android fanboys who will do anything to bash Apple. Take 5 minutes and look at the App Store.

  1. There was a simple but fun Mac game back around 1996–“Slick Willie” I believe–where your moved Bill Clinton through a maze chasing bimbos while avoiding microphones. Good times.

  2. Pathetic.

Clearly a career criminal with a litany of law breaking scandals and a foundation whose international operations are often compared to organized crime, are just fine with Cook and company.

Obviously an organization that has demonstrated the sheer hypocrisy of it’s so called “inclusive” and “tolerance” ideas on a daily basis is just ducky.

A candidate who has personally demonstrated racism as opposed to the false claims of racism against Trump, works for them.

Sometimes the dimwittedness of liberals astonishes me.

  3. All you people who are complaining about Apple being liberal and should leave or boycott, then go. The company doesn’t care. It’s THEIR company, they can do what they want. What do you expect from Apple? A corporation founded by the great Steve Jobs, a hippy, and now Tim Cook, who has always stated his liberal beliefs.

Regardless of Apple being liberal or conservative, I buy their products because they are great, functional, and lead the way in computer standards. Though, still waiting for an updated Mac Pro.

    1. I know. Bill can’t wait to get back into the White House – whole new batch of interns to rape!

Don’t worry about Bubba, though, Hillary will cover for him by attacking and trying to publicly destroy his victims as usual.

You don’t have any good answers, Dems. You lose.

    2. I am embarrassed that my party, which I have supported for most of my life, has nominated a man who has openly called for surrendering Eastern Europe to Russia notwithstanding our NATO treaty obligations. His price, well let’s see today’s quote:

“Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 e-mails that are missing,” Trump said, in an apparent reference to Clinton’s State Department emails. “I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press. Let’s see if that happens. That’ll be next.”

  4. Anyone notice that First 2014, Then 2016 always responds to political post within minutes? Is there some way of setting up a notice every time MDN post something political, or could it be that Steve Jack, MDN’s one and only employee and First 2014, Then 2016 are one and the same?

    1. Dear Conspiracy Theorist,

“Is there some way of setting up a notice [for] every time MDN post something?”

      Two ways:
      1. MacDailynews app’s push notifications
      2. Follow MacDailyNews via Email (right column under the poll)

I get notice of every article as it’s posted with its headline. I assume others do as well and they comment on articles that interest them as I do/

  5. I always appreciate MDN’s openness to the more conservative end of politics vis-à-vis Apple, rather than just repeating the usual tech/SV echo chamber of liberalism.

  6. I saw a great tweet the other night after Bill Clinton gave his speech about Hillary, the woman, if she is so great, he had stepped out on what? A dozen times. Anyway, all the usual suspects of the Pro Hillary Super Pac known as the mainstream media were fawning all over themselves, as well as late night shows, clamoring over themselves to give Bill glowing endorsements of a prized speech. To which a woman took to Twitter and posted, “Good Lord, CBS. At least try and hide that erection.” Oh. My. God. It brought me to tears laughing.

So, this has now become my go to tag line to the blatant disparaging one sidedness of actors, singers, TV hosts, newspaper & TV journalists/reporters, etc, oh and businesses… ‘Good Lord, Apple. At least try and hide that erection.’

  7. It’s like Fakebook, they don’t have an official policy against the right, but 99% of their employees are leftists so they force their worldview down everyones throat and censor dissent. What is truly going to be extraordinary about the upcoming Trumpslide is that it’ll happen despite the Mass Media’s total opposition.

  8. It is quite interesting to watch some of the ultra-passionate conservative Americans on these pages (f12t14, Nick, a few others) who seem convinced that their party’s chosen candidate will become the president of America.

Looking from across the Atlantic, this seems literally impossible. Anyone who is even vaguely familiar with the voting habits of American electorate can clearly see that there aren’t 51% white men with high-school education (or lower) among the actively voting population (Trump’s base). Mit Romney, who was much more sensible candidate, lost for that reason, and that was four years ago; meanwhile, the white men’s share in the voting population has only shrunk even further, in favour of the non-white population’s share, with Hispanics getting a significant bounce.

I would really like to see how can Trump make Latinos vote for him, after everything he said, and everything he continues to say. Let’s not forget women; Trump’s line about his daughter (“I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.”) always causes most women, and most men who have daughters, to vomit in disgust. While he shows pride about his daughter’s business success, his wives have all clearly been trophies, to show off in front of competitors. Many white men want to BE Trump (rich, powerful, with a young fashion model wife), but they are far from enough to win him an election.

  9. After 4+ decades of watching them – I’m ready for the Clintons and Trump to go away.

Clinton or Trump? Double barf-bag alert. Pick between the two of the most corrupt politicians ever – or cast a protest vote for a third-party candidate.

  10. I find it hard to find two worst candidates for the world’s most powerful position. One is crooked and not very smart when it comes to communications, and the other makes statements that should never be said and then claims it was misunderstood.
