“We may very well have reached the peak of the iPhone 7 rumor cycle, Apple fans,” Zach Epstein reports for BGR. “At this point, unless just about every reliable Apple source out there has been grossly misguided, we know almost everything there is to know about Apple’s upcoming next-generation iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.”
“We know what they’ll look like, we know about a host of new features they’ll likely include, we know about most of the biggest changes compared to this year’s iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, and we even probably know exactly when Apple’s new iPhones will be released,” Epstein reports. “Now, a new video gives us what is undoubtedly our best look yet at the upcoming new iPhone 7.”
Epstein report, “Gadget blog TechnoBuffalo contacted a company in China that was selling iPhone 7 dummy models and it had one shipped to its home base in the US. Upon receiving it, the site promptly put together what is easily the highest-quality video we’ve seen so far that features one of these iPhone 7 models.”

MacDailyNews Take: Looks great (except that the Sleep/Wake button is still in the wrong place opposite the volume buttons instead of on top where it belongs).
It’ll be interesting to see how Apple tries to sell this generation.
We’ll be looking to get the flagship iPhone 7 Plus (or Pro) instead (for the rumored dual-lens camera system, battery life, display size, etc.).
Go Lightning!
Apparently, rumors are so incredibly important that TechnoBuffalo was compelled to encourage crime in China by buying a stolen ‘dummy model’ iPhone 7. Kind of stupid.
I can wait for real.
Hoping my iPhone 5 will hold out until the 10th anniversary edition next year.
I do miss having access to Apple Pay, but, for me, an iPhone is a large purchase, even if subsidized. I suspect that next year’s model will have several features I have been waiting for. If I could, I would replace more often.
