Apple releases second public betas of macOS Sierra, iOS 10

“Members of Apple’s Beta Software Program can now download and try the second public beta releases of iOS 10 and macOS Sierra, which were seeded on Wednesday,” Mike Wuerthele reports for AppleInsider.

“The new betas carry the same build numbers as Monday’s developer betas, with iOS 10 listed as 14A5309d, and Sierra sporting build 16A254g,” Wuerthele reports.

  1. If you’ve downloaded the WatchOS beta certificate you’ll need to uninstall it from your iPhone in the Watch app, then restart you Apple Watch before you can upgrade to WatchOS 2.2.2. I don’t believe there is a WatchOS public beta release. I am running the public beta on my iPhone and had to do this to upgrade my watch to 2.2.2.
