Apple Q2 earnings expectations

“Later today, at about 4.30 PM ET, Apple will announce its financial earnings results for fiscal Q2,” Benjamin Mayo reports for 9to5Mac.

“Using data compiled by Philip Elmer-Dewitt (subscription required to see full article), analysts are expecting negative growth numbers across the board,” Mayo reports. “Elmer-Dewitt’s data suggests consensus of $52.2 billion revenue (a 10% decline), 51 million iPhones (a 15% decline), 9.9 million iPads (a 20% decline) with Mac sales constant at 4.5 million.”

Mayo reports, “The revenue decline is particularly notable, as it’s the first time company revenue will decline YOY since 2003.”

  1. Gee, who would have predicted a downturn in Apple’s earnings? I suppose that he experts will now offer their opinions how this happened? Others, no doubt, will excuse this fiscal fiasco as someone else’s fault, but not Apple’s leadership. Can’t wait for Q3 reports.

    1. Joe, you are so focused on Apple dying, its just sad. Go buy the latest Samdung and pretend to be happy. 🙁

Apple is doing just fine. Its Wall Street that is having brain seizure.

      Just saying.

  2. Wonder what they’ll do or say if its not a loss or not all negative across the board.. These people make assumptions and like climate changers are usually “wrong”.. However, we shall see..

  3. Ok ok, we get it!

ITS A DECLINE!!! YA WE GET IT!

    DECLINE! DECLINE! DECLINE!

    APPLE IS DOOMED.

FRONT PAGE OF ALL TECH WEBSITE: DECLINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Pffff!!!!

    1. Well, if you can brag about a increase in sales I suppose the only thing else to do is act like the decline in sales is no big deal. That’s all you can do, because you haven’t a f*cking clue how this happened. Your pathetic rant can’t hide your worry that Tim Cook’s leadership is dragging down Apple.
