Apple has a TV show about apps in development

“Apple is making it’s own TV series — about apps,” Nate Swanner reports for TNW.

“In a collaboration with Will.i.am and two veteran Hollywood producers, Apple is making a ‘nonscripted’ show about apps,” Swanner reports. “It’s not clear just what the subject matter of the show may be outside of the very vague ‘apps.'”

“Sadly, Apple isn’t discussing details,” Swanner reports. “We don’t know how the show will be financed, when it will be released or how Apple plans to deliver it.”

    1. There are plenty of other tech shows that have run for years on a shoestring budget. I look forward to checking it out.

      Currently I watch the TWIT network on my Apple TV and the odd time I check out Reviews on the Run.

    The future of TV is apps”

    Now this ties it altogether into a package of entertainment from an app about Apps.

    1. Hours and hours of an unremitting Apple infomercial with Apple executives uttering the words “amazing” and “powerful” in every other sentence. It’s true! Maybe CIA could use it to torture ISIS captives until world opinion believes water boarding would be more humane.

  2. If Apple is going to go with producing its own content, they should remember why Netflix is successful at this. They use successful people with a hot track record. Not weirdos with nothing but name recognition from the recording industry.
