Ric Molina writes for Mac Gamer HQ, “There’s only one thing a self-respecting gamer should do this Halloween weekend: Play horror games.”

I’m not much of a gamer. but:
√ Slender: The Eight Pages. Now a freebie classic. Just beware getting nailed with adware when downloading it.
– However, I prefer ‘SlendyTubbies’. Downloading it for OS X is a bit tortuous, but worth the effort. 😉
√ Bioshock. Oh yes. It requires lots of hitting and shooting, which bores me. But it’s stupendous otherwise.
Add:
• Amnesia (and its DLCs). It’s challenging and freaky.
I also enjoy playing the ‘Silent Hill‘ series via Windows on Parallels Desktop. Nothing can touch it for horror, Japanese style. Also the first movie of the series based on the game is one of my all time favorites (although certain parties hate me for saying so). I’m a Christophe Gans fanatic. His adaptation digs deep into some wonderfully scary archetypes, alongside brilliant imagery and of course Akira Yamaoka’s intense music,
