Apple releases iOS 9.0.2

Apple today released iOS 9.0.2 which contains bug fixes and improvements including:

• Fixes an issue with the setting to turn on or off app cellular data usage
• Resolves an issue that prevented iMessage activation for some users
• Resolves an issue where an iCloud Backup could be interrupted after starting a manual backup
• Fixes an issue where the screen could incorrectly rotate when receiving notifications
• Improves the stability of Podcasts

    1. Nothing like having an app tell you to turn cell data on when it is already on- for the OS and the app.

      Nobody- it seems- is sweating the details at Apple on the SW side. Maybe Bertrand Serlet can be lured back- he is currently on the board at Parallels.

  1. What were apple doing with months long Beta testing of iOS 9.. I think it is time to slow down the iOS OS X rollouts instead of every year, as it is pretty clear that Apple is not bale to deliver completely in the first try any more. Slow down apple, breathe cut your employees also some slack, However passionate a person is they are going to need time to recharge. So Slow down and try to get at leats most of it right the first time. Thanks.

  2. I’m getting endless ” a problem occurred with this webpage so it is being reloaded ” error messages that makes safari almost unusable. I was hoping to see some mention of this on the update because it’s all over the forums for that few months but still nothing from Apple
