“As the initial wave of reviews for the much-anticipated Apple Watch began flooding in this morning, French website Metronews posted one of the first unboxing videos for Apple’s wrist-worn device, showing off specifically what appears to be the 42mm Stainless Steel Case with Milanese Loop Apple Watch,” Mitchel Broussard reports for MacRumors.
“The video is short,” Broussard reports, “but confirms that photos of the packaging shared yesterday were legitimate.”

Seems a bit awkward though, and psshh it’s not even an Edition.
Also, could they have picked someone with any less appealing skin anomalies, open hangnails, and overall nasty appearance? At least have your girlfriend unbox the thing if you look that disgusting.

Read the “what’s in the box” on apple’s website. That cord only comes with the Edition.
It’s my impression that this ‘unboxing’ was actually a sort of clumsy re-unboxing. For example, I can’t imagine that Apple is going to NOT seal the plastic box holding the watch. Having the box just fall open, oops here comes the watch to meet the floor, is NOT Apple worthy. It’s likely that the presenter accidentally left the charger out of the box. There was clearly space for it in the bottom of the box.
Did you notice that when he put the watch on that there was an existing impression of the back of the watch on his wrist?
That was strange. I saw something like a bruise there as well which distracted my viewing experience.
