“Apple has already issued iOS 8.2 betas to developers, with iOS 8.2 expected to be the second major iOS 8 update following the recently released iOS 8.1.2,” Chris Smith reports for BGR, “but the company is apparently also working on an iOS 8.1.3 update that should be released before iOS 8.2 is ready for the masses.”
“Likely meant to bring more bug fixes and performance improvements, iOS 8.1.3 has already been seen in Internet traffic analytics software by MacRumors,” Smith reports. “It’s not clear at this time when iOS 8.1.3 will be released.”
Smith reports, “Interestingly, Apple did not patch the iOS 8.1.1 jailbreak when releasing iOS 8.1.2, but it’s not clear whether iOS 8.1.3 has anything to do with this iOS device jailbreaking.”
