“Following a recent ruling that Apple would have ten days to remove the anonymous social app Secret from its Brazilian App Store, Apple has complied with the order,” Mike Beasley reports for 9to5Mac. “As noted by the judge, the Brazilian constitution prohibits anonymous freedom of expression, which essentially makes Secret and other apps like it illegal with that country.”

“In addition to Apple, the judge ordered Google and Microsoft to also remove the app or similar apps. There [have] not, however, been any reports of Apple or the other companies remotely deleting the app from users’ devices,” MacNN reports. “The latter demand formed the second part of the judge’s order, although it only applies to devices within the country. The three companies will face fines if they do not fully comply — but it is possible the companies will opt to challenge that portion of the judge’s ruling, arguing (among other possible challenges) that it can’t be certain that remote deletion would not affect, for example, devices owned by non-Brazilians who happen to be in the country at that moment and are not affected by the order.”

Does anyone know if you can selectively delete an app…. only on specific phones that may or may not be geographical, may or may not be on, may or may not affect phones outside the geo area????
I would like anti gravity ……. but no court order is going to make it happen….. However, that physical reality does not stop judges thinking they have god like powers….
