“While there have been a multitude of iPhone 6 mockups and case leaks, actual parts said to be from the iPhone 6 have thus far been in short supply,” Juli Clover reports for MacRumors. “We’ve seen what might be the front panel of the device along with possible batteries and a manufacturing mold used for creating the phone’s chassis.”
“What is said to be a backlight panel for the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 has now appeared on Chinese Twitter-like site Weibo (via Nowhereelse.fr),” Clover reports. “There is no way to verify the legitimacy of the images, but the backlight design does appear similar to the backlight panel of the iPhone 5s and the 5c, with a few small differences — the connector has been relocated and the pins themselves have a different design.”
Clover reports, “While today’s part appears to be for the 4.7-inch iPhone, Apple is expected to release the iPhone in two sizes: the aforementioned 4.7-inch version and a larger 5.5-inch version. ”

Soon we begin hearing the yearly problems in the Apple supply chain for part xyz will cause manufacturing delays. I think that means samdung is getting worried.
I read somewhere that we might get a new iPhone at WWDC — an iPhone pro that looks like the 5s but with a 4.7″ screen. Maybe so!
Bu,bu,bu,but there won’t be a larger iPhone(s). The fanboys said so!
Nothing like just making stuff up and then reacting to it.
“They” said no such thing. Many said they thought it was a terrible idea. Many said it was a great idea, and that it was way overdue.
And many said that it won’t happen. That’s simply a fact. Truth hurts doesn’t it?
Many? By what measure?
Great question, Strooby.
My post translates to:
A few people on this site said they thought it was a terrible idea. A few people on this site said it was a great idea, and that it was way overdue.
What does your “many” translate to, Steve?
Why are you both apologists for fanboys? They shot their mouths off and now they’re about to be proven wrong. Crash and burn with them if you choose.
We’re not apologists for fanboys. We just don’t like your inaccurate, overblown, petulant nonsense. What’s your next post going to be — “nyah, nyah!”
As Jack Nicholson said, “you can’t handle the truth.”
What Apple getting into the large phone business? Fan Boys will eat crow like never before! Sweet!
Similar to what Sean said just above…
Nothing like just making stuff up and then gloating about it (in a very immature manner).
Many fans of Apple said they thought a large phone was a terrible idea. And many other fans said it was a great idea, and that it was way overdue.
