  1. Excellent! But, why are we still using Google maps and not Apple’s maps on our Mac computers. Yes, the Windows PC idiots have Safari. Can’t we offer the Mac users a Apple based map and the others could grab one from the Apple’s cloud servers or grey out the map option for them?

Apple, stop handing Google what they do not deserve! I would not send any traffic to Google from any Apple products or devices. Start cutting these leaches off. Now!!

        1. Perhaps you missed the headline, which is “6 Safari secrets for OS X Mavericks”.

Referring to OS X and specifically to Mavericks makes it pretty obvious that the article is not talking about Safari on PCs.

  2. I use a mix of Apple, Google and Bing maps. Bing’s Birds Eye View can be very good as you can view things from all sides, some of the images are much higher quality than the other offerings. I really like Apple’s 3D renderings, and a native app is really cool on a big screen Mac. None of them is better than another in every way.

  3. This is one of the first lists of “tips” I’ve seen in a long time that has actual useful tips I hadn’t known about. Kudos to the author.

And isn’t it fun discovering these useful easter eggs Apple puts in their software?
