See when Apple will release iOS 7 in your region

“The day has finally arrived,” Arron Hirst reports for RazorianFly. “Those who have been unable to test the software in its development period, over the last several months, will today get to download iOS 7 to their many iOS devices. Apple confirmed during its September 10 media event that the software would become available publicly sometime today, however, the firm has not yet confirmed a specific time at which the software upgrade will be pushed live to its iTunes servers.”

Hirst reports, “While we wouldn’t claim to know the exact time at which the software will become available, we can tell you that Apple has, (in the past), used the 10AM PST (1PM ET, 6PM London) timeframe to publicly release new iOS software to its customers, and thus, we have no reason to believe that the company has any plans to stray from this tradition.”

“With this in mind, we’ve provided a full time chart,” Hirst reports. “The chart shows the time at which we would normally expect iOS 7 to become available for public download both via Apple’s desktop iTunes software, alongside eventually being available for download wirelessly over-the-air.”

      1. Why upgrade when it works fine?
1 Ed, although I do see the new multitasking would probably be the death of the iPods CPU but all other improvements wouldn’t be much more strain…

        1. Well, umm, let me see… To be able to take advantage of enhancements in functionality brought about by new hardware? Apple’s only goal is to surprise and delight. What kind of surprise and delight would there be if they allowed user’s of hardware that can’t support it to upgrade to the latest OS? Surprise aplenty. Delight…not so much. Use your head. Or, do like is suggested below. Load it with music and dock it somewhere and don’t worry about it again. But don’t try to shame Apple for protecting their customers from huge disappointment.

    1. Ed, here is your answer: The iPod Touch 4th Gen was powered by an A4 processor. Every other device has an A5 or higher processor will be getting iOS 7, except the iPhone 4 which has other sub-processors that didn’t exist in the iPod Touch 4th Gen.

Plus, the iPhone 4 won’t be getting a complete set of new features.
      iPhone 4 does not support:
      – Filters in Camera app
      – AirDrop
      – Panoramic photos
      – Siri (kind of obvious)
