Apple iPhone 5s units will be severely constrained if all three colors (Gold, Silver, and Space Gray) people familiar with the matter told MacDailyNews.
iPhone 5s will go on sale on September 20th and long lines are expected outside Apple Retail Stores. Not all customers will get an iPhone 5s that day, our sources say.
In an email to customers today, Apple has provided details about iPhone 5s launch day:
iPhone 5s can be purchased from the Apple Online Store after 12:01am Pacific / 3:01am Eastern or via your local Apple Retail Store where sales start at 8:00am local time on September 20. Lines outside stores are expected to start forming much sooner than that.

If you order one online can you still trade in your old one?
The question for me is can you order online at 12:01 then pick it up at 8:00 to avoid the line?
No. Online orders are delivered to your home ASAP.
Wrong, there is a pickup in store option for all online sakes.
No your both wrong and correct, if you look at years past. The pickup in store option is usually not avail for the first 3-7 days, only shipping.
In the past you could order online and request pickup at a store. I got the first iPad that way. Ordered online in Illinois, but picked up at an ARS in Fort Worth, TX.
I remember the lines being long for the first iPad … but NOT that long!!! WOW!!

Not taking time off from work, will order online bright and early at 3:01 eastern time and wait patiently for it to be delivered. As the old saying goes “Good things come to those who wait”.
My iPhone 5 took FOREVER to be delivered.
What do you mean with “constrained if all three colors” ?
