      1. Fanbois have a glaring capacity to be cultural bigots, smug and selfrighteous chauvinists, and insensitive and pathological twits. I think it has something to do with their inner insecurities and inability to think intelligently.

  1. You wouldn’t buy from Walmart at a great price? Wow. Walmart not good enough for you? Have to get it from an Apple store or your local designer boutique? What the f@ck is wrong with America? I’m so sick of all the bashing businesses get for being successful. Must be nice to be able to afford being that snobby.

    1. The “Hee-haw demographic” comment was a rude and pretentious, but I can understand the general resentment towards Walmart, since their success was built on extremely low wages, long working hours, ultra-cheap Chinese manufacturing and strong-arming suppliers (leveraging their near-monopoly retail position) into preferential exclusive deals.

Walmart may be a successful business, but they are not such a great employer.

Wages: People are standing in line to work for Walmart and no one is putting a gun to their heads. Ditto for extended hours paid in overtime.

Ultra-cheap Chinese manufacturing? Not at my local Walmart Superstore.

Strong-arming suppliers. Are you talking about Apple and Foxconn or the Samsung supply chain? They all do it, it’s called BUSINESS.

The Walmart hate is typically from the left wing and thank the maker the rest of us don’t care. We go into one store and buy anything we need at low prices. In this economy, that is more than welcome …
