“Apple’s virtual personal assistant Siri has been known to have a quirky personality for a long time, offering off the cuff responses to a variety of unconventional requests,” Dan Seifert reports for The Verge.
“Now it appears that Siri is eager to take some jabs at Google Glass, as it responds with subtle and not-so-subtle putdowns on the product when you use the “Okay Glass” command,” Seifert reports. “Responses are seen in iOS 6, though apparently the beta of iOS 7 offers even more Glass-related comebacks.”
A collection of some of the things Siri replies to “Okay, Glass”
• Glass? I think you’ve got the wrong assistant.
• Very funny, (name). I mean, not funny ‘ha-ha,’ but funny.
• Stop trying to strap me to your forehead. It won’t work.
• Just so you know, I don’t do anything when you blink at me.
• I think that Glass is half empty.
• I’m not Glass. And I’m just fine with that.

MacDailyNews Take: Apple should add, “Don’t be a Glasshole, (name)!”
I saw a guy with Google Glass in the wild the other day. Must be trying to generate pre-launch buzz. Looked like a complete glass-hole to me. Anybody who looks directly at me with one of this things is gonna have it ripped from his face.
Smart ass remarks would do much, come on Apple, just get Siri out of Beta.
Yes, get Siri doing more now.
Agreed, funny replies shouldn’t be the potential for Siri.
Yes but if they weren’t there you can guarantee the opposition would take advantage in some way when it was reported Siri has no knowledge of glass and in so doing portray heras inferior. This way she gets the punch in first.
immature, childish, high tech power used for this sort of bs
Not disagreeing, but doing this, and watching the viral nature of the story and the impact on the servers, probably gives Apple some incredibly powerful insights into several aspects of the Siri-sphere.
Siri should say in response, “Activating spy mode. Connected to NSA servers… Just kidding.”
Or “Now sending all of your emails and passwords to Google”
Sending drone.
She actually sounds a bit curt when you do this.

Bad move. As tacky as MS and their silly surface ads.
Using Glass, gives a whole new meaning to “Go Pound Sand!”.
