“The U.S. International Trade Commission, which hears many patent fights, on Friday extended its deadline for ruling on whether Apple Inc infringes patents owned by Samsung Electronics Co Ltd in making the iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad,” Reuters reports.
“The ITC had said it would make a decision on Friday,” Reuters reports, “but delayed it until Tuesday, June 4.”

Kingmel, have you ever had to deal with a government office and been infuriated by lack of competence, relevant skills, and even a general sense of any sort of urgency or compassion?
In some countries, governments attract highly skilled and competent individuals, and these are paid well and respected. In the US we hire people out of high school with minimal skills and training, offer them stable jobs with benefits and job security, and do not expect much in return. The jobs are not necessarily the top paying jobs available bit they pay decent wages and offer stability and benefits.
The take away is they rarely attract the best people and in some senses they have a culture that effectively prevents people from striving hard to achieve and instead pulls for mediocrity.
MDN may seem over the top to you, but I assure you that their sentiments while a bit harsh are grounded in a reality born by a lot of people’s experience of government workers and people who have to suffer through the results of hiring a bunch of mediocre workers and giving them power over our lives.
I had a feeling these pussies would do something like this. Watch them go in favor of the perps in the end. I wouldn’t be surprised if these no balls decision makers wimp out again!

I think we need the equivalent of “do not resuscitate” orders. People who hate government should be denied any direct or indirect benefit from government services. Let the police, fire, and medical services focus on people who don’t despise them. Folks who hate the judicial system shouldn’t be allowed to use it. Let them work out their own issues, like people in Somalia or the Eastern Congo. That’s what a society without government looks like.
